This weeks Sisterhood Series feature is Maya Rodale @mayarodale is a bestselling author of funny, feminist historical romance, and she’s a romance reviewer for NPR. Female friendship plays a huge role in all the novels she writes. It's a reflection of her real life experience, where some of her most rewarding relationships have been with the women in her life. She began reading romance novels in college at her mother’s insistence and has never been allowed to forget it. Today she is shouting out her friend Kate, who shares her love of books and empowering women. She works in PR and has her own communication company, Grayhorse, where she does so much to promote women and books by women. Maya wants to thank her for connecting women, and spreading the sisterhood through her work.
